About the Role
Reporting to the Asset Investment Team Leader, the Technical Support Officer (Repairs & Maintenance) will hold an important role within the Caledonia Housing Group. The remit of the post includes monitoring and controlling the day-to-day delivery of reactive maintenance in the West Area, ensuring that Customer Service generated repairs are carried out to a consistently high standard.
The post holder will support the Customers Services Team with complex repairs and voids and provide advice and guidance to colleagues when required. An important part of the role involves liaising closely with customers and staff to ensure high standards of performance by contractors to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, it is expected that you will have a construction background with a minimum of an HNC in a property / construction related discipline. Candidates must also have an understanding of property related compliance, and prior experience in contractor performance management, and project and budgetary management - ideally within a public sector organisation or housing association.
A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential for this role.
