Plasterer Full-time, Temporary 12 month Contract Salary £38,181 - £39,414 Normal working hours - 40 hours a week The Home Team Ltd, which is part of the Govan Housing Association Group, requires a quality plasterer to join the team. The main purpose of the role is to support the close painting contract that the Home Team are delivering for Govan Housing Association by carrying out plaster and render works in advance of the close painting being undertaken. In addition, the successful applicant will be required to carry out lime mortar repairs and sand mastic sealant works as part of our window Installation contract. It would be advantageous to have a valid IPAF certificate, however, training will be given if necessary. Further works that may be undertaken will be plastering and associated works in void properties and on our reactive repairs contracts. Therefore, it would be advantageous to have experience working in social housing. Skills and Experience required: Must have fantastic customer service skills and have experience dealing directly with tenants/customers. Be willing to go that extra mile to make sure our customers are 100% happy. Excellent time keeping and punctuality. Positive attitude and be willing to learn new skills. NVQ level 3 in Plastering or equivalent More than 5 years’ experience of plastering residential and/or commercial properties. Valid driving licence is essential. An eye for detail.
