Key Responsibilities:
Forge Setup and Training: You will quickly integrate into the Forge environment, working to continue our programme of modernisation and organize the workspace for greater efficiency. The role includes training in forging techniques to ensure alignment with our operational standards.
Lathe Work: The position involves substantial manual lathe work, particularly focused on tooling and pre-inspection turning, so experience in manual machining will be essential.
Future Opportunities:
As we continue to develop, there may be opportunities to work in other sections, including our CNC department, contributing to a multi-skilled engineering team.

Hours and remuneration:
Competitive salary and weekly piece bonus.
38.5 hours per week - Overtime (optional) 1.33 weekdays - 1.50 Saturday
Monday - Thursday 7.00am to 3.30 pm (1/2 hour lunch) - Friday 7.00am to 1.30am
31 days paid holiday including Bank Holidays
