Job Title: Assistant Bid Writer
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: Up to circa £30,000 + Package
Looking for an opportunity to kickstart your career in bid writing? We’re working with a leading main contractor based in High Wycombe who is seeking an Assistant Bid Writer to join their team. You’ll collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager, assisting in drafting, editing, and proofreading bid documents, ensuring all materials are accurate, complete, and submitted on time. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to gain experience, with excellent potential for career progression within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with drafting, editing, and proofreading bid documents.
* Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to compile and format information in line with client requirements.
* Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all bid documents and submit them within deadlines.
Ideal Requirements:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
* Previous experience in writing, research, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
* Knowledge of the bid and proposal process is a plus, but comprehensive training will be provided.
* A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
