An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Angus Council as a Trainee Environmental Health Officer.
Applications are invited from current students of the University of the West of Scotland, Environmental Health with Professional Practice degree course or those who have had their current qualifications assessed by REHIS as part of the alternative pathway to qualification and are eligible to complete the practical training and present for the Diploma in Environmental Health.

The role will cover all aspects of environmental health work in preparation for the professional exams to obtain the Diploma in Environmental Health to become an Environmental Health Officer.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a passion for Environmental Health, who is organised, with excellent communication skills. You will work alongside colleagues and partner organisations to complete your required practical training and necessary qualifications as part of your training.
Whilst we support flexible home working, this role will require extensive travel across the Angus area and potentially beyond to cover all aspects of the training portfolio.
