If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real impact and be part of something big, this could be the perfect fit Primary Responsibilities: The Principal Marine Engineer will be responsible for the specification, design, and integration of primary onboard systems for my client's portfolio of vessels ranging from 2-20m. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Systems specification for primary onboard systems, including: Propulsion Bilge Fire Hydraulics HVAC Cable and piping routing in Siemens NX master GA Development and maintenance of primary equipment lists Creation of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Contribution to Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Bill of Materials (BOM) Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Proven experience in maritime systems design and integration across the specified systems. Recent experience with Siemens NX for system modelling, including production information. Experience liaising with relevant regulatory bodies. Ability to collaborate with shipyard shop floor teams to implement design changes and updates. Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Experience with 3D CAD modelling in Siemens NX. Knowledge of electrical design. Familiarity with Teamcenter PDM. Understanding of configuration control. Experience mentoring junior engineers.
