The Role We are looking to recruit a Porter to join the portering team at University Hospital Wishaw T he Porter will carry out planned and reactive tasks, involving the movement of patients and a range of goods and equipment. The Porter will carry these tasks out efficiently and effectively, ensuring the safety and consideration of patients, staff, visitors and all users of NHS Lanarkshire services are adhered to. The successful candidate will control car parks across the site identifying and taking action identified by NHS Lanarkshire e.g stickering unauthorised/ inappropriately parked vehicles. The post holder will work alongside and support new staff in the working environment.
