We are currently recruiting a Duty Manager to join our team at Carton House. Key Responsibilities: Ensure smooth running of the daily operation. Complies and reinforces all statutory and legal requirements for fire, hygiene, health and safety, GDPR. Plan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all the departments. Establish and enforce policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness Ensures that the team actively creates Sparkle moments that are based on personalization and creativity and promotes those. Effectively & responsibly handles guests’ requests by adopting a “one-stop” approach. Performs other duties as assigned by senior hotel leadership. Manages any incident that occurs during resident stays or guest visits. Prepare, manage and assist in facilitating event operational requirements. Attend all event and other relevant meetings/briefings. Carry out patrols front and back of house areas to ensure doors are locked or open as required. The successful candidate will: Full flexibility – this is a full-time role, flexibility and shift work is required. A real understanding of hotel operation. Ability to work on own initiative. Excellent communication skills with excellent spoken & written English. Outgoing and confidence in dealing with a range of customers. Previous hospitality experience desired.
