We are urgently seeking a Carer, Support Worker, or Children’s Care Assistant in West Malling and the surrounding area.
Superior Healthcare provides at-home complex care services to children, young people, and adults across the UK. Founded in 2006, we have been dedicated to supporting families who have had to make significant adjustments due to life-changing incidents or diagnoses.
The Role:
This role would be caring for an infant of the age of 7 months old. Ideally, you would have experience working with Neonatal or with non-invasive ventilation and/or oral suctioning. As a Children’s Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a long-term basis with one or a small number of clients in your local area.
Key Details:
Additional day or night shifts in or around the West Malling area will be available to suit your availability and preferred working hours.
* Shifts: Night shifts 20:00pm – 07:00am
* Schedule: Fixed rota with overtime options
Essential Experience:
All our team members receive a fully paid, comprehensive, week-long, classroom-based training program with practical workshops before being introduced to our clients.
This training covers all aspects of the Care Certificate and delves into skills needed to support complex clients, such as tracheostomy management and gastrostomy. Additionally, individual, client-focused training continues following the initial classroom induction.
* PEG feeding

Responsibilities
* Confident and clear communication with the client.
* Prioritising the client's wellbeing, including raising any safeguarding concerns.
* Assist with clinical interventions such as PEG feeds, seizure management, oral suctioning, ventilation, and medication administration.
Requirements
* Ability to work night shifts.
* Full right to work within the UK.
* Full UK driving license with access to a car.
* Must be able to commit to at least two shifts per week.
* Recent complex care experience, involving personal care.
