The Stephen Longfellow Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Attendance Officer. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy - the successful applicant will be expected to support the attendance team in improving the attendance and punctuality across the Academy by monitoring the attendance of students and referring concerns. To promote good attendance within the Academy and issue routine correspondence to parent/carers regarding attendance/absence requests.
The ideal applicant will have:
• 5+ GCSE A* - C (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
• Good ICT skills
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and mental health needs of young people.
