We have an exciting new opportunity for an Outsourcing Operations Manager to join the Global Corporate Specialty (GCS) Operations team within Aviva. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the outsourcing function, providing oversight, and supporting the operational performance and processes of the GCS business unit.
A bit about the job:
Within this role you will:
1. Lead and manage offshore teams to ensure efficient operations, developing strategies to improve service delivery, quality, and productivity and monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
2. Identify process improvements and cost efficiencies, collaborating with relevant teams to implement best practices and streamline workflows, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies
3. Act as the main contact between offshore operations and UK stakeholders, building strong relationships with senior management to align operations with business objectives, providing regular updates on offshore operations performance
4. Foster a positive working environment, developing and mentoring team leaders and managers through performance reviews and implement training programs
5. Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring contingency and business continuity plans are in place, resolving operational issues promptly through effective risk management
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
6. Experience of managing outsourcing functions / managerial experience
7. Excellent analytical, numerical and information gathering skills. Determines pertinent information required by management to make effective decisions. Ensures that the gathering, processing, distribution and use of this information occur in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner
8. Strong interpersonal skills – able to communicate well across organisational levels, including well developed influencing skills
9. Uses client, financial and operational data to direct resources – making resource allowance decisions to improve efficiency
10. Track record in continuous improvement, including working with offshore establishments, including introducing systems or new working practices into a business on time and on budget

11. Salary between £40,000 – £50,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
12. Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
