We’re looking for a Falls Responder to join our supportive, close-knit team covering North and South Worcestershire — providing compassionate, on-the-ground help when it’s needed most. You'll be part of a dedicated team of 6 providing an On Call Service throughout South Worcestershire; responding to non-injured people who have fallen at home. This is a service that is contracted by the NHS to provide this service to our residents. This is a home-based, mobile role, responding to emergency alerts from people who have fallen at home. Working in pairs, you’ll assess the situation, provide reassurance, and, where safe to do so, triage and make referrals to appropriate services. You’ll also make follow-up referrals, complete digital records, and act as a vital link between residents, health professionals, and support services. Whilst this role offers flexibility, we do require you to be within 5 minutes of your car and being contactable. You’ll be working from the comfort of your own home and respond to calls directed to you. No two days will be the same however this role does you give the opportunity to work away from 9-5 working. Roles available: Permanent, South Worcestershire 20 hours per week, this role runs on a 3-week rolling rota including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays — so flexibility and reliability are essential. Relief roles £12.65 per hour £25 on call payment, across Worcestershire flexible role providing cover when our core team is on leave or needs extra support. You'll receive full training, a supportive induction, and access to specialist kit and software. This isn’t just a job — it’s a lifeline for the people you support. About You You’ll be empathetic, reliable, and calm in a crisis. You’ll need to be confident visiting people in their homes, sometimes in distressing or unpredictable situations, and able to offer not just practical help, but genuine reassurance. You’ll bring: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Confidence using a smartphone or tablet to log information A flexible approach to shifts, including overnights and weekends The ability to work sensitively and respectfully with vulnerable individuals A proactive, supportive attitude and a real team spirit Experience in care or emergency response is helpful but not essential — we’re open to a wide range of backgrounds.
