Job Summary
As a substance misuse nurse you will work as part of our early days in custody team. You will complete a detailed reception screen and assess risk on new patients. You will ascertain what needs that patient requires within those first 48 hours and make a referral to the EDIC referral Hub. You will also work in the Conibere Unit which is our drug stabilization unit. You will be RCGP level 2 trained and participate and lead in alcohol and drug reviews. You will complete observations prior to medication administration to ensure that patients are not at risk of overdose.
