Role Overview The Fund Accounting Associate will assist in preparing and delivering financial reports for a portfolio of investment funds. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements while meeting reporting deadlines. This position provides an opportunity to develop expertise in financial reporting and fund administration, working closely with senior team members and external auditors. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Accounting Support Fund Accountants and Managers in understanding fund structures and transactions. Accurately maintain bookkeeping records and process financial transactions in a timely manner. Assist in preparing annual audited financial statements, interim reports, net asset valuations, and capital statements. Ensure adherence to UK GAAP, IFRS, and evolving accounting standards. Maintain reporting schedules and meet financial reporting deadlines. Attend client meetings to discuss financial reports and account matters. Provide necessary documentation and support for audit processes. Assist in regulatory and statutory financial reporting compliance. Process & Compliance Ensure internal policies and procedures are followed in financial reporting. Collaborate with stakeholders to improve accounting and reporting processes. Support process enhancements to drive efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. Required Skills & Experience Background in finance or accounting, ideally through a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Progress towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA). Strong knowledge of Excel and financial reporting software. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
