About us HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction Limited is a leading international civil engineering company, specialising in complex market segments such as Transportation, Energy, Tunnelling, Building, Civil and Structural Engineering.
We are looking to expand our team with skilled and enthusiastic individuals to deliver a tunnelling project in the beautiful region of Snowdonia, North Wales. Our work will significantly enhance the visual impact of the area, burying a network of overhead cables and removing a number of pylons to restore and protect the natural beauty, wildlife and environmental heritage of this precious landscape.
The project requires a Surveyor who will be responsible for the monitoring and surveying activities on site in a safe and efficient way.
You will liaise with the client to check the setting out information being used is the latest available and provide the existing site control to the construction team, and / or establishing site control where required.
The role will require you to ensure data, reports and/or drawings of setting out and as-built surveys are produced accurately and in a timely manner and ensure difficult setting out tasks and dimensional check of elements are delivered with high accuracy requirements.
It is essential that you have a Civil Engineering Degree or similar with at least 3 years of experience. Advanced geodetic surveying and deformation monitoring skills are also required.
