We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our growing Developments team The Developments team are a key part of our eCommerce function, implementing, testing and building on the user experience of our website and App Plus managing the requirements of our partnered brands and the overall content of our website The role As a Senior Business Analyst at NEXT, you will focus around supporting the current environment and delivering projects committed to this season's plan, next season's plan and beyond Your role is paramount in providing a continuity of service through BAU support, to improve current processes and to also improve visibility through monitoring and reporting. What else is involved? • Analysing business processes, identifying problems, and proposing solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. • Engaging with stakeholders to understand and document their requirements, needs, objectives and translating these into technical and nonfunctional requirements in ADO initiatives. • Analysing current business processes, workflows, and procedures to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. • Creating detailed documentation, such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and Use Case Specifications, that clearly outline the project's scope, objectives, and functional requirements. • Examining data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions. • Collaborating with technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with business requirements. This includes validating that the delivered solution meets the specified criteria. • Identifying the gaps between current and desired states of a project or business process, and proposing strategies to bridge those gaps effectively.
