Founded in 2017, they successfully launched a range of brand-new exhibition events covering diverse industries including battery technology, renewable energy, electric vehicles and advanced materials. Their aim is to connect buyers and suppliers whilst continuing to be an essential meeting place for business leaders and innovators from around the world.
THE ROLE
They are now looking for a Commercial Director to join the team and be responsible for the management and recruitment of a growing sales team with new launches planned for 2026/27.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Management of Event Directors and Exhibition Managers, working with the CEO and MD to set top line event sales targets, KPI's and ensure delivery.
2. Mentor and support the sales team to deliver weekly sales targets and effective pipeline management through the CRM system Salesforce.
3. Support sales team where appropriate on headline relationship management across the portfolio.
4. Lead and manage recruitment with the sales team expected to grow by 15% - 20% per year working with recruitment partners.
