We are currently seeking a VP, Global Sales who will be responsible for leading the Sales & Customer Success organization with a focus on growing annual recurring revenue (ARR) and minimising churn by winning new customers and expanding partnerships with existing customers. What we'll get you doing: - Vision: Define and execute the long-term direction of IDBS's market reach, and sales execution. Lead the execution of the Sales & Customer Success organization with responsibilities spanning Sales, Pre-Sales and Customer Success. - Leadership: As a member of the IDBS Leadership Team, collaborate to set our strategy and make strategic decisions to turn strategy into action within the Sales & Customer Success function. Lead the Sales & Customer Success team in accordance with Danaher's Leadership Anchors and best practice to ensure a highly motivated and effective team where talent is retained and succession strategies developed and executed. - Performance: lead high-performing, revenue generating teams that compete to win top tier customers by delivering business transformation - Financial: Drive top line growth, forecast accuracy, and cost management. - Team: A high performing sales team and culture with a priority focus on rigorous and disciplined execution against the company's growth targets. - Quality Management: Own the Continuous Improvement of the department's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with IDBS ISO9001, ISO27001 and all other quality accreditations and standards. Cultivate a Quality mindset within the team. - Compliance: Ensure team is compliant with company policies and processes and participate in Customer and Internal Audits and ensure all audited work is carried out in accordance with the relevant QMS procedures, updating procedures where appropriate. Here is what success in this role looks like: - Experience in leading sales leaders to drive booking and revenue performance against plan. - Experience designing compensation structures that align sales incentives with business objectives. - Rolling out and coaching to the Challenger Selling methodology and culture. - Able to chart the course - able to balance short term and long-term objectives in line with the company's long term strategy and immediate priorities. - Able to relay complex information in simple terms to people at varying levels of competence. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proven management and leadership skill; building and maintaining an engaged and motivated Sales & Customer Success team. - Outstanding stakeholder management skills. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: - Experience in working within a Software sales environment (SaaS Solutions). - Demonstrated experience in driving a global sales team to success. - Working within the Life Sciences Sector.
