Be responsible for providing Leadership to the Bed and Transport Bureau/ Discharge Suite/ Phlebotomy team Be accountable for monitoring, assessing and reporting on performance within defined service areas. This will involve highlighting any issues to the Site Resource Manager/ Clinical Matrons and identifying appropriate action to be taken Ensuring all staff adhere to the Trust policy and procedures Responsible for ensuring that effective communication is maintained within the services and for keeping staff up to date with relevant team and organisational Key Performance Indicators Record and monitor sickness absence and take appropriate action in accordance with policy Main duties of the job Ensure attendance and compliance from Bed and Transport Bureau/ Discharge Suite/ Phlebotomy team on all mandatory training Ensure the efficient use of staff within budgetary constraints and identify areas of cost improvement Liaise closely with the Site Resource Manager/ Clinical Matrons and allocated HR advisor regarding any line management, performance, attendance and conduct issues, and deal in line with Trust policy May be required to attend Clinical Delivery Group meetings ensuring that notes are taken and disseminated to in a timely manner Continually review new ways of working to meet service needs and provide a flexible workforce to meet the changing demands of service introducing new technologies to improve efficiencies To take forward service modernisation objectives in relation to the Patient Flow Team including redesigning processes/ policies to incorporate new models of working in line with Patient Flow.
