We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals to provide phlebotomy care and support our nursing teams as part of our City Community Team. The post-holder will be responsible for performing domiciliary venepuncture and supporting the nursing team, as required, to the entitled patient population.
The successful candidate will be supported and managed within the community team, led by the Community Team Manager and play a vital role in the delivery and access to timely care across our communities.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will need good written and verbal communication, the ability to use IT, be flexible and adaptable, and have a proactive can-do attitude. Applicants must be comfortable working in a friendly but busy environment. All clinical training will be provided, and all phlebotomy staff are supported to complete the Care Certificate within their first 6 weeks of practice (if not already obtained).

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Venepuncture competency certificate
* Good standard of general education
* Care Certificate
* NVQ Level 3 in health care (or willingness to undertake).
Additional Criteria
* Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes and hold a full and valid driving licence.
Experience
* Experience of working with the general public
* Experience of working in a healthcare setting
* Experience of working in the community.
