We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Governance Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will oversee and implement robust product governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks associated with our financial products and services.
Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive product governance policies and procedures.
2. Lead the product approval process, ensuring all new and existing products meet regulatory standards and align with the organization's risk appetite.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate potential risks related to product development and lifecycle management.
4. Conduct regular reviews of existing products to ensure ongoing compliance and suitability for target markets.
5. Analyze data and prepare reports on product performance, risks, and governance metrics for senior management and regulatory bodies.
6. Stay updated with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices in product governance, providing guidance and training to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Experience in product governance, risk management, or a similar role within the financial services industry, with a comprehensive understanding of financial products, services, and regulations.
* In-depth knowledge of product governance frameworks, compliance, and risk management principles.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
* Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully implementing governance initiatives.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills for conveying complex information.
* Proven leadership and team management experience in fast-paced environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and decisive decision-making abilities.
Desired Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional certifications such as CPRM or PMP are preferred.
