Role Overview As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring a nurturing, student-centered learning environment. You’ll work closely with teachers to provide tailored support, both one-on-one and in small group settings, helping students achieve their full potential. Responsibilities Collaborate with teachers to deliver effective classroom support tailored to the diverse needs of students. Foster an inclusive atmosphere that empowers students and promotes personal growth. Support classroom activities and assist with daily learning goals. This is a full-time, ongoing position starting in January 2025, with opportunities to make a lasting impact on students’ lives. About You To excel in this role, you should: Build strong, positive relationships with students to create a supportive learning environment. Have prior experience working with children or young individuals with SEND. Possess excellent communication and behavior management skills. Be willing to provide suitable references and undergo a DBS check. All staff undergo thorough interviews and referencing checks and must hold, or be willing to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
