The Technical Officer's role is to undertake investigations into statutory nuisance and a range of other public functions in both domestic and commercial premises. In addition, the role will include other functions as required such as assisting with air quality monitoring.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly organised, and self-motivated individual to work within our Environmental Protection Team. The team is responsible for dealing with complaints relating to Statutory Nuisance (i.e. noise, odour, dust, smoke, etc.), public health, pest control, and waste on private land with office locations in Crewe and Macclesfield. You must have a qualification and/or experience pertaining to the area of work and have experience of undertaking investigations across the range of activities covered by the team. You should be able to interpret key legislation, work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, have excellent communication skills, and be able to prioritise cases and workloads.
