Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Primary School based in Tameside who are looking for a full-time SEN Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child within EYFS. This role would involve providing 1:1 support for the child, ensuring they are accessing the curriculum. You would be using visual cards such as “Now and Next” and Visual Timelines.
This role requires someone who is available on a full-time basis (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm) with experience of working with children/adults with additional needs. This school has a friendly environment and a hard-working supportive team. Their aim is to enable each individual child to reach their full potential, and they are fully committed to providing an inclusive education for all children. This role is a great opportunity for those wanting to build their experience working with children with SEN.
This mainstream school offers support for children with varying special educational needs and is open to appointing an individual with transferable professional and/or personal experience. The successful educator will take a passionate and proactive approach to the role.
