The Common Point of Entry is the front door to community Mental health services across Berkshire. We arepredominantly aTelephone Triage and assessment service,howeveralso provide virtual and face to face assessments based on clinical need. As a triage,assessmentand signposting service, we do not hold caseloads.
We are based in a central location in Bracknell, with ample free parking facilities.
Weoperatebetween 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday on a flexible 4 shift basis (these include 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm 10-6 and 12pm-8pm dependingon the need of the service). We offer hybrid working with an expectation of 1 day a week minimum in the office (following induction period), with a leadership team committed to staff wellbeing andandhigh qualitycare provision

The successful candidate will be pivotal to our work in providing first line contact to people who need our services, through providing a welcoming,positiveand respectful first impression to service users, families,carersand professionals.
We areseekinga motivated and passionate individual with a high standard of knowledge and experience of working with adults who are experiencing a range of mental health presentations
The post holder will be expected to have regular contact with referring professionals as well as service users,familiesand carers.
The post holder will alsobe requiredto support internal relationships across BHFT services. They will have the ability to work well within a team environment and be able to manage and prioritise workload, being able to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision, to meet deadlines and prevent delays for people accessing services to meet their health needs.

The “must haves” for you to be considered for this role:
• Professional based qualification in Nursing, SocialWorkeror OT.
• Experience in front of house and/or Crisis/HTT/ PMS services.
• Ability to undertake holistic and comprehensive assessments of individuals mental health needsFlexible, motivated and caring attitude to work, service users and colleagues
