About the Role: Rogerstone Park is the biggest site in our Meals Solutions division, employing 1,600 people, and is where we specialise in the development and production of a huge range of innovative meals for retail customers. It’s a complex, dynamic environment and we’re now looking for a Factory Shift Manager to join the team in our Meat Prep area – this is where meat coming into the site is cooked and processed in preparation for our meals. The area has recently undergone a £7m investment programme, so this is a great time to join the team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include: Leading and motivating your team to ensure all personal and department KPIs and objectives are achieved. Ensuring all food is produced to the right quality and food safety standards are adhered to at all times. Coaching and mentoring your team to drive performance and ensure succession planning. Driving a positive Health & Safety culture, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and procedures. About You: People management experience gained in a food manufacturing environment, ideally chilled/high care. Strong leadership skills, able to lead by example, motivate a team, and manage performance. SAP experience would be ideal, but is not essential. Experience of utilising continuous improvement techniques. Ideally hold HACCP Intermediate qualification. Strong background in Health & Safety (IOSH preferred).
