As our Procurement Manager, you will oversee and manage the procurement processes for the company. This role involves strategizing to secure cost-effective deals and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of products and services, and fostering strong relationships with vendors. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the supply of goods and services. Your main objective will be to ensure the company sources high-quality products at competitive prices. You will strategize, negotiate, and implement purchasing policies and procedures effectively. What You’ll Do Strategic Procurement Planning: Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and enhance effectiveness. Vendor Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms. Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services. Cost Management: Perform cost analysis and establish appropriate benchmarks. Monitor and forecast upcoming demand levels. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with the company’s procurement policies and procedures. Assess, manage, and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities. Supplier Evaluation: Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure quality and performance. Develop and implement supplier scorecards to track performance metrics. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on emerging trends and business opportunities. Identify potential suppliers and new products. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to clarify specifications and expectations. Collaborate with global offices to ensure adherence to standard procurement procedures, adapting to local regulations as needed. Partner with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations for the company. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus. Professional certification such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is preferred. Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or Procurement Officer. Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, with a strong ability to analyze market trends. Exceptional leadership skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Experience with inventory management software and databases. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective project management capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with strong time management abilities.
