Annual salary: up to £45,900.00 Fire Risk Assessor Location: You would be expected to carry out visits in Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Peterborough, Norfolk, Ipswich, and additional surrounding areas as required Full time / Permanent Salary up to £45,900 per annum About the Role As a Fire Risk Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of buildings and public spaces with fire safety regulations. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments, identifying potential fire hazards and evaluating the associated risks. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective fire safety plans to mitigate these risks. In this role, you will work closely with clients, providing expert advice on fire safety measures and strategies to prevent fire incidents. You will also collaborate with other professionals, such as fire services, building managers, and surveyors, to ensure that fire safety standards are met and maintained. This includes staying current with changes in fire safety legislation and best practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering fire safety training to employees and stakeholders, ensuring they are well-informed about fire safety procedures and emergency responses. Your work will involve producing detailed reports documenting your findings and recommendations, which will be essential for maintaining compliance with fire safety regulations. Principal Accountabilities Conduct fire risk assessments and audits in accordance with organisational and regulatory guidelines Identify fire hazards and evaluate the potential risks associated with the Develop and implement fire safety plans and action plans Provide fire safety advice to clients, both verbally and in detailed written reports.
