JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Northampton Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £100.00 - £150.00 Per day Job Duties: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored lessons Providing one-on-one support to students as needed Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Relevant experience in a similar role within the education sector Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Additional training in supporting students with specific SEN requirements Working Conditions: Working within a school environment Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents Potential for some physical activities such as assisting students with mobility All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
