About the Role: You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality D&T lessons across all year groups (Years 7-11). Develop and implement a stimulating curriculum that fosters creativity, problem-solving skills, and practical abilities. Integrate the latest technologies and industry practices into your lessons, ensuring a relevant and enriching learning experience. Contribute to the ongoing development of the D&T department, including curriculum planning and resources development. Build strong relationships with students, promoting their intellectual curiosity and encouraging a passion for D&T. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in D&T or a relevant subject area. A minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting. Excellent subject knowledge with a strong understanding of D&T principles, concepts, and practical skills. A passion for inspiring young minds and fostering a love for learning. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. The ability to effectively plan engaging and differentiated lessons to cater to a range of learning styles.
