As a relatively new school we are looking to extend our pastoral team so that we can better support our students. The Engagement Officer, as a non-teaching role, will be available throughout the day to support students who may be struggling to engage with work/ lessons and who may need support in order to follow school expectations.
Our students often come to us having had difficult educational experiences. The students at AHSPurley are wonderful but need the support of a caring and understanding individual in meeting expectations and in achieving all that they can. We understand that all behaviours are forms of communication and use a positive behaviour support approach to address any unwanted behaviour.
Please note that we will interview suitable candidates prior to closing the advert.
