SEN Teacher Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
* Implement effective strategies to support students in their learning and personal development.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages students’ confidence and growth.
* Work closely with the SENCo and other staff members to support the delivery of personalised learning plans.
* Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians to update them on progress and address any concerns.
* Participate in school meetings, professional development, and school activities as required.
SEN Teacher Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Previous experience working with students with special educational needs.
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
* A team-oriented approach and flexibility to work collaboratively.
* Commitment to continuous professional development in SEN education.
