We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Curriculum Leader for MFL to join our fantastic team at CHS South. The successful candidate must be passionate about their subject and determined to impart knowledge, skills and understanding to all of our students, whilst exciting and engaging them in their learning.
This is a full-time, permanent role starting in January 2025 providing all the pre-employment checks are completed by this time. However, we are open to discuss the start date if needed.
This role attracts a TLR 2.1, with a value of £3,214.
Main purpose of the job:
This is a middle management post. In addition to those professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers in the school, the post holder’s key responsibilities will be for supporting the Curriculum Leader in raising the standards of teaching, learning and student achievement in the subject area for all students.
The post holder will also deputise for the Curriculum Leader when necessary and will take responsibility for areas of departmental work as agreed with the Curriculum Leader and Senior Leader.
