As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting our busy facilities management desk. You will work closely with our Operations Manager to ensure the smooth operation of administrative tasks, with a focus on maintaining high standards of client satisfaction. You will gain exposure to various aspects of the business, including managing work orders, liaising with subcontractors and engineers, and supporting our field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process work orders through the system and then organise and diarise utilising our employed field engineers and subcontractors who may have been previously sourced or who require sourcing for work orders.
* Handle general administrative tasks such as typing correspondence, filing, and distributing documents.
* Support the management team by coordinating schedules, processing work orders, and handling client requests.
* Assist in sourcing subcontractors and allocating jobs to ensure prompt service delivery.
* Provide courteous and efficient service to clients, colleagues, and visitors.
* Utilise Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for day-to-day tasks.
* Answer telephone calls professionally and manage inquiries effectively.
* Maintain accurate records by inputting data into internal systems.
* Comply with health and safety standards and promote good practices within the workplace.

Working Hours:
Monday – 8:30 am till 5:30 pm
Tuesday – 8:30 am till 5:30 pm
Wednesday - 8:30 am till 5:00 pm
Thursday – 8:30 am till 5:00 pm
Friday – 8:30 am till 4:30 pm
40 hours a week – you will be required to work alternate Saturdays.
Flexible Working Policy in Place. On occasion work falling outside of these hours may be required.
Functional Skills:
o Maths Level 1 then 2
o English Level 1 then 2
o ICT Level 1
Exemptions may apply if GCSE Grade C or equivalent has been achieved.
You may be required to attend college one day per week for this training.
Hourly Wages:
Dependent upon experience.
Future Prospects:
There is a strong possibility that you will gain a permanent position following successful employment as well as achievement of the full apprenticeship. There will be opportunity to study further and this will be expected of successful candidates. There will be chance to study a broad range of further qualification to degree level and beyond in areas such as management, surveying, marketing.
