We are working on behalf of a global Real Estate Investment Manager who are looking to recruit an Associate Director level Portfolio Manager to join their team based in Central London. This role will strategically manage a pan-European portfolio consisting of industrial, office, retail and PBSA assets.
Reporting into the Director of Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for:
* Preparing, developing and implementing the annual business plans to optimise performance in accordance with the portfolio/fund strategy.
* Work with senior management in taking a lead in the development of efficient and affective techniques, procedures and targets for all asset management matters, including producing and monitoring of yearly/quarterly business plans.
* Management of Property & Asset Management teams on the ground, as well as letting agents, L&T specialists, lawyers and valuers.
* Strategic implementation of asset management initiatives (this includes lettings, rent setting, capex refurbishments, opex, H&S and hold/sell analysis).
* Implementation of Responsible Investment (i.e. ESG and impact), ensuring fund net zero carbon emissions objectives are met.
* Preparation and delivery of board recommendations, IC papers, quarterly reporting and PMC papers.
* Inputting and presenting into key milestone meetings and presentations, such as AGM’s and yearly fund reviews.
* Oversight of financial cash flow modelling, performance reporting and evaluation of proposed initiatives.
Key Portfolio Manager requirements:
* Demonstrable Asset/Portfolio Management experience, plus strong background in the Industrial/Office/Retail/ PBSA pan-European markets.
* Real Estate degree/masters educated and RICS qualified is highly advantageous.
* Ability to work on transactions as well as day to day portfolio matters.
* Advanced Excel modelling and strong analytical skills.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present verbally and in written reports.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Experience with Argus Enterprise is desirable.
Salary £90,000 - £110,000 plus benefits and discretionary bonus.
Office is based in Central London (3-4 days a week in the office).
