Outpatient Sister/Charge Nurse | Outpatients Department | Competitive Salary, depending on experience | Worcester | Full Time
Spire South Bank Hospital is looking for an Outpatient Sister or Charge Nurse to join their friendly and welcoming OPD team on a full-time basis. We have a fantastic opportunity available for a nurse looking to expand their experience working as a part of the wider clinical team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support the Outpatients manager with the management and leadership of the team as the department expands and grows.
2. Carry out individualised nursing care and procedures to the highest standards complying with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
3. Chaperone and assist Consultants during examination of the patients and minor surgical procedures and assist in arranging investigations requested by Consultants.
4. Carry out any other duties delegated by the OPD Manager/team leader for the proper and efficient care of the patients and the smooth running of the department.
5. You will be responsible for risk assessments and Datix investigations.
6. Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
7. Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
8. Assist in maintaining and developing services.
Who We're Looking For:
1. Registered Adult Nurse with at least 2 years registration experience.
2. Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions.
3. Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
4. Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care.
5. Strong assessment skills.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Computer literate.
8. Efficient with workload.
9. Experience in Outpatients or a similar setting is desirable.
