Working in healthcare can be incredibly fulfilling as it allows you to make a positive impact on people's lives every day.
We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.
We believe in creating a warm and inclusive environment where our young service user can thrive, and we're seeking a care team who shares our vision. If you're passionate about making a positive difference in the life of a child and have experience or a willingness to learn about complex care needs, we want to hear from you!
Benefits of this role include:
* Competitive Pay Rates
* Full Clinical Training
Meet our service user:
Our service user is a friendly and sociable young boy who is currently residing in Birmingham Children's Hospital. We are looking to build a skilled care team for him to return home to his loving family in Quinton, Birmingham.
You will be required to provide support and companionship with his complex care needs, on a 1:1 basis throughout the day.
His favourite activities are going swimming, exploring with his sensory toys, listening to nursery rhymes, and having stories read to him. Since he has started school, he now loves to explore lots of messy play too!
Please note that all candidates will need to travel to Birmingham Children’s Hospital to complete shadow shifts until our service user is discharged home.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have experience with the following:
* 3 months previous care experience
* Medication Administration
* Personal Care
* Moving and Handling
* Tracheostomy Care
Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:
* Oral Suctioning
* Physiotherapy
* Epilepsy & Seizure Management
* Nebuliser Therapy
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
We have the following shifts available:
* Part Time

Take a look at our pay rates:
Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (£104 approx. per 8-hour shift)
Weekends: £14.00 per hour (£112 approx. per 8-hour shift)
