I'm currently looking for a new-build Site Manager for a 40-50 unit scheme in Morpeth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, from site preparation to project completion.
2. Supervise on-site construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and safely.
3. Monitor project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
4. Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
5. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes.
6. Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and reports.
7. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status and address any concerns.
8. Foster a positive and productive working environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction, preferably with new build projects.
2. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
5. Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field (e.g., NVQ, HNC, degree).
6. SMSTS and First Aid certifications are essential.
7. Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
