Job Title: Mental Health Refuge Project Worker
We are seeking an experienced mental health support worker to develop and deliver mental health support, advice, and guidance to women living in refuge accommodation. The role involves establishing links with mental health agencies to improve referral pathways and providing support to colleagues on addressing women’s mental health needs.
About Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid
For over 40 years, Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid has supported women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse. As the region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop-in services, community support, and emergency accommodation across six refuges.
Our projects support women in the criminal justice system, healthcare settings, and the wider community, providing vital support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. We also provide training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals to raise awareness of gender-based violence issues.
