Job summary The post is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Allied Health Professional to build upon and advance their clinical as well as learn leadership skills. The focus of the service is to ensure that patients receive timely assessment and therapeutic intervention to maximise their independence, safety and wellbeing. The interventions will include education, individual work and group work and will involve working closely with patients, carers, statutory and voluntary agencies, within a multi-disciplinary team. They will hold their own caseload of patients and work autonomously. This post is a community-based Senior Occupational Therapist. They will work under the supervision of a B7 Specialist Occupational Therapist and they will be responsible in supervising Therapy Assistant, OT apprentice and/ or OT students.
