Description
The Head of Education Operations oversees and drives the global operations of ELEMIS education. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing operational programs, systems, and processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives, quality standards, and the needs of our diverse global teams. The Head of Education Operations will also build, implement, and monitor our reporting systems to ensure we can measure the impact of education within the business. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, operational expertise, and team leadership with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technology and Innovation: Lead the adoption and integration of cutting-edge educational technology such as learning management systems (LMS), virtual platforms, and analytics tools. Work with the Learning Platform and community manager to ensure our LMS platform is being optimized.
2. Process Automation and Efficiency: Always seeking opportunities to automate and improve the effectiveness of admin-heavy tasks within the department. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align organizational objectives.
3. Budget Management + Resource Allocation: Work alongside the Global Director to manage Global education budgets. Manage ordering, forecasts, and financial plans for global education ensuring efficient resource allocation and management of costs.
4. Data Analytics and Continuous Improvement: Establish metrics and analyze data, work with the Operational specialist to assess program effectiveness, learner satisfaction, and ROI; use insights to drive program enhancements. Build dashboards that show the commercial impact of education.
5. Operational Leadership: Lead the development and optimization of processes, workflows, and systems that support the delivery and measurement of educational content, activities, and programs as well as the effective operational running of the department. Ensure we have strong standard operating procedures in place.
6. Team Management and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global operational education team.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
1. Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
2. High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools.
3. Project Management
4. Data Analytics experience (such as Google and Tableau)
5. Operations management experience
6. Minimum of 3 years' experience in Operation department management
7. Experience in dashboard creation to assess program performance and ROI
