Transaction Manager
Morgan Hunt is working with a Housing Association in Southwest London who are looking at recruiting a Transaction Manager. This is a 6 month contract role paying up to £24 p/hour and will offer hybrid working - 2 office days p/week.
Key Responsibilities of the Transaction Manager:
1. Oversee client bank and rent account transactions, ensuring accurate ledger management and reconciliation.
2. Produce management accounts, budgets, and rent increases, and prepare year-end schedules for audits.
3. Lead, coach, and develop the team, ensuring performance, compliance, and stellar service delivery.
4. Resolve issues, manage complaints, and enhance customer experience through expert knowledge and collaboration.
5. Maintain accurate rent ledgers, allocate payments correctly, and manage Direct Debits and rent payment systems.
6. Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and supplier payments through BACS runs and close monitoring.
Previous Skills and Experience of the Transaction Manager:
7. Minimum AAT Qualified.
8. Financial and management accounting systems, principles, and practice, in a supervisory or leadership role working in social housing.
9. Driving change using IT systems to improve efficiency.
10. Using accounting and rent ledger systems.
