Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Foster a culture focused on safety, exceptional customer service, technical excellence, and adherence to quality standards within the Fiber Optic Installation team.
* Oversee and complete quality control checks to ensure high standards are consistently met.
* Conduct and document field safety observations to maintain a secure work environment.
* Provide guidance and support to the Installation Technician team, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
* Address and resolve customer and technical issues while proactively preventing potential escalations.
* Build positive employee relations through clear and effective individual and team communication.
* Monitor and mentor team members in areas such as safety, quality, productivity, customer service, and overall well-being.
* Ensure Fiber Optic Installation Technicians have access to and maintain necessary tools, equipment, and vehicles.
* Promote cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and external service providers to streamline operations.
* Educate team members on company products, services, and performance expectations.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
* Advanced understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
* In-depth knowledge of network designs, architectures, and technologies.
* 3+ years of experience as a Fiber Optic Installation Technician with a track record of managing teams.
* Proficiency in data analytics and reporting.
* Strong familiarity with various hand tools (battery-powered and non-battery powered).
* Associate's degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
* Supervisory experience in a technical environment.
