You will work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8pm – 6am.
This role is a waking night shift, where you’ll stay actively engaged throughout the night to ensure smooth operations. You’ll work 3 nights per week as part of a two-person team covering the shift, while being part of a wider team of 4 dedicated to covering all night shifts.
Your key responsibilities include:
Being the first point of contact for residents during the night, providing a warm and welcoming presence to make them feel at ease.
Delivering exceptional customer service and working to meet the daily needs of residents.
Maintaining the hostel’s cleanliness, including vacated resident rooms and communal areas.
Accurately logging important information on our in-house system, which requires computer training.
What we offer:
Join an organisation that truly embodies its strong core values: Kindness, Honesty, Fairness, and Respect. This is an amazing permanent opportunity with fixed working dates, offering stability and growth.
We’re committed to your ongoing development, providing training at a pace that suits you. You’ll also benefit from:
25 days holiday per year (increasing to 30 with length of service), plus bank holidays pro rata
Access to a great Pension Scheme
Medicare health cash plan to support your wellbeing
Health and wellbeing support tailored to your needs
An annual flexible cash benefit to use as you wish
A cycle to work scheme to promote sustainability and a healthy lifestyle
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with proven experience of working with individuals who have a variety of support needs. You should also have a background in cleaning and take pride in maintaining high standards of work. The ability to handle challenging situations with sensitivity and care is essential, along with knowledge and experience of Health and Safety practices.
This role requires someone who is confident working independently and with minimal supervision. A genuine willingness to embrace and uphold Cadwyn’s core values is also important.
