The role As the Collaboration Tools Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of customer-focused engineers responsible for managing and advancing the University's central Office 365 environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with academic leaders, researchers, and students across the University, helping them leverage digital tools to enhance their work and foster collaborative success. Key Responsibilities As Collaboration Tools Manager you will: Oversee the University's Office 365 tenancy, ensuring efficient and effective management. Collaborate with peers across UIS to integrate Office 365 services seamlessly with other university platforms. Provide expert guidance on best practices for using the Office 365 suite, ensuring users maximise the tools' potential. About You To succeed in this role, you will need: Leadership Skills: Proven experience in line management or supervising teams, ideally within an IT or technical environment. Technical Expertise: Extensive experience managing a large-scale Office 365 (or comparable) environment (10,000 users). Project Management: A successful track record of delivering projects, on time and to specification. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with experience working across diverse organizational levels.
