Job Description: Project Manager – Large RC Frame Residential New Build

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large RC Frame residential new-build project in London. Our client is a reputable Tier 2 main contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
The successful candidate will take full ownership of the project, ensuring its completion on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the delivery of a large-scale RC Frame residential new-build project from inception to completion.
2. Develop and manage detailed project programs, ensuring all milestones are met.
3. Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
4. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and the site team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
5. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain excellent communication and manage expectations.
6. Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring financial control and timely reporting of progress and costs.
7. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing as planned and to the desired standards.
8. Identify and mitigate risks, resolving any issues that may arise promptly.
9. Chair regular project meetings with the site team, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Proven track record as a Project Manager delivering RC Frame residential projects.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a main contracting environment.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and methodology, particularly RC Frames and residential developments.
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
5. Proficient in project management software and tools.
6. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are essential.
7. Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is desirable.
