The Governors of Abbeyfield School are seeking to make the appointment of a talented and enthusiastic PE teacher to join our thriving PE Department. As a member of the department, you will be well-supported by a team of experienced dynamic teachers who are passionate about PE. The successful applicant will look forward to a high level of support and professional development in a friendly atmosphere, encouraging all staff to fulfil their potential.
The post will offer the successful candidate the potential to teach predominantly Boys Physical Education across the age range from 11 to 18. The person appointed will be a talented, enthusiastic teacher with strong practical teaching skills across a range of sports and be fully committed to extra curricular clubs and fixtures.
Within the PE Department, we currently offer Level 2 Cambridge National in Sport and Level 3 Cambridge Technical in Sport. The successful candidate should ideally possess experience of teaching theory PE/Sport and be confident in the delivery of theory PE/Sport at both Level 2 and Level 3.
