Job Purpose
Our General Practice Team act for a range of both landlord and tenant clients with a full range of commercial services including disposals / acquisitions, negotiation of rent reviews, lease renewals and lease regears. We also undertake red book and non-red book valuations as required. The role will primarily include L&T and Valuation work but with some agency involvement.
The successful candidate will service existing clients but will also be expected to generate new business.
Key responsibilities include
* Negotiating rent reviews, lease renewals and lease regears
* Acting as Expert Witness at rent reviews and lease renewal disputes
* Undertaking red book and non-red book valuations as required
* Dealing with disposal and acquisition projects
* Building relationships with existing clients and targeting new clients / instructions
* Attending meetings with clients and the lease advisory team
* Detailed report writing
Person Specification
* MRICS Qualified
* Several years’ experience of negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals
* Registered Valuer
* High degree of IT literacy
* Self-motivated & can work autonomously.
* Driven with a can-do attitude.
* Ambitious & career focused.
