Job Description:
etiCloud has a fantastic opportunity for an IT Service Desk Apprentice to join our Support team, based on site in our Sheffield office.
We are seeking a proactive and eager individual who is passionate about pursuing a career and apprenticeship qualification in IT support with an external apprenticeship training provider while displaying an interest in working for a market-leading Cloud technology organisation.
Role Summary:
As an IT Service Desk Apprentice, you will work closely with our existing Support team and learn the skills required for providing technical support within an enterprise organisation while studying for an apprenticeship qualification through online learning and assignments.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, promptly handling their queries both over the phone and via a ticketing system. This role is perfect for individuals who are looking to start a career in IT and build up their enterprise tech skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As an IT Service Desk Apprentice:
* Answer support calls promptly and handle them in accordance with our documented processes.
* Record and prioritise customer queries in a ticketing system ensuring adherence to SLAs.
* Build and maintain customer relationships.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues providing resolutions or escalating where appropriate.
* Educate users on how to use various software and systems.
* Maintain a strong knowledge of our company's services and products to help effectively and efficiently respond to customer queries.
Qualifications:
* GCSE grades 6 or above in Maths and English.
Skills Required:
* Actioning change requests for user accounts and systems.
* Deploy and maintain a wide range of software on customer systems.
* Contribute to and help maintain our internal knowledge base.
Personal Qualities:
* Excellent attention to detail.
* A genuine interest in IT.
* A desire to learn and build a career in IT.
* Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines both business and educational.
