Job Title: Regulatory Manager/Senior Manager – Cosmetics
Job Type: Permanent position
Location: Central London, UK – Office based position.
Remuneration: £50,000 - £65,000 + benefits
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing cosmetics company who have experienced rapid growth in the last year. With over 120 products in the product portfolio and several products in the developing pipeline, they are looking to grow their Regulatory team in the UK.
As a Regulatory Manager/Senior Manager, you will be responsible for all activities related to Regulatory including driving global strategies, NPD, Labelling, compliance, and new registration while keeping up to date with global regulation and legislation changes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for driving global regulatory strategies and compliance.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders in the business, including being able to influence decisions at a senior level.
3. Drive new registration into UK, EU, US, LATAM, Middle East, and RoW markets.
4. Support NPD, Labelling, Compliance, and post-marketing activities while also driving strategies.
5. Lead regulatory activities for all company products, ensuring compliance of finished product composition, labelling, and communication.
6. Gather regulatory intelligence, monitor cosmetic law changes, and perform impact assessments on company products.
7. Review and approve promotion and advertising information to ensure they are compliant with local regulations.
8. Liaise with external regulatory bodies, establishing and maintaining good relationships with enforcement authorities.
9. Provide technical and regulatory advice for the Innovation and Marketing departments in support of the growth funnel business plans.
10. Develop regulatory brief/regulatory strategy/risk assessments to support growth funnel business plans.
Requirements
1. University degree in life sciences, Biomedical science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
2. At least 5 years + of experience working in regulatory affairs within Cosmetics (Skincare & Makeup), consumer health, or within the pharmaceutical industry.
3. Extensive experience supporting new registrations, NPD, labelling, compliance, and post-marketing activities.
4. Previous experience working within a regulatory role dedicated to Cosmetics.
5. A strong communicator who is confident in driving strategies and working with senior internal and external stakeholders.
6. Experience working/interacting with health agencies or other relevant authorities.
This role will require someone who can multi-task a number of projects at one time with minimal help from colleagues. The business is looking for someone with excellent communication, detail drive, a hard worker, and a motivated individual.
